How Abbie Works

Abbie is your after-hours call handling assistant. Her job is to make sure calls are answered, information is captured, and opportunities are not missed when you’re unavailable.

She works quietly in the background so you can focus on running your business.

This page explains what Abbie does, what she doesn’t do, and how the handoff to you works.

What Abbie Handles

Abbie answers incoming calls that are forwarded to her number.

When a caller reaches Abbie, she can:

  •  Greet the caller professionally
  • Ask a few key questions to understand why they’re calling
  • Capture the caller’s name and phone number
  • Take notes about the issue or request
  • Book an appointment when appropriate
  • Send you a notification when action is needed

Every call Abbie handles is logged in your dashboard.

When Abbie Answers Calls

Most clients use Abbie for after-hours calls, but she can also answer calls during business hours if you choose.

Common setups include:

  • After hours only
  • During lunch breaks
  • When all technicians are busy
  • As a backup when you miss a call

You decide when calls are forwarded to Abbie.

What Abbie Does Not Do

Abbie is not a replacement for you or your technicians.

She does not:

  • Diagnose technical problems
  • Provide pricing or quotes
  •  Dispatch technicians
  • Collect payments
  • Make promises on your behalf

Her role is to gather information, keep the caller engaged, and hand the opportunity back to you.

What Happens After a Call

After Abbie finishes a call:

  • The call appears in your dashboard
  • The caller’s information is saved
  • Any notes Abbie captured are attached
  • You receive 2 notifications. One by email… and if you’re logged into your dashboard, she notifies you by sounding a “cha-ching”.

From there, you take over.

Why This Works

Most missed calls happen when you’re busy, driving, or closed.

Abbie makes sure:

  • Calls are always answered
  • Callers don’t hang up frustrated
  • You have the information you need before calling back
  • Opportunities don’t slip through the cracks
