Call Logs
Call Logs show every call Abbie handles for your business. This is where you can review who called, why they called, and what information was captured during the conversation. You do not need to review every call, but Call Logs are useful when you want details or context before returning a call.
What Appears in the Call Logs
Each call entry includes key information such as:
- Caller name (when available)
- Caller phone number
- Date and time of the call
- Notes captured during the call
Some calls may also include a call recording.
Viewing Call Details
To view a call in more detail:
- Open your dashboard
- Go to Call Logs
- Click on the call you want to review
- This opens the full call record.
Call Notes
During each call, Abbie collects short notes based on what the caller says.
These notes typically include:
- Why the caller reached out
- Whether the call was urgent
- Any specific details the caller shared
Call notes are meant to give you context, not a transcript.
Listening to Call Recordings
When a recording is available, you’ll see an option to play it from the call record.
Listening to a recording can be helpful if:
- You want to hear exactly what the caller said
- You’re training a new team member
- You’re reviewing how calls are handled after hours
Returning a Call
Most users use Call Logs to prepare for callbacks.
- Before returning a call:
- Review the caller’s name and number
Read the notes
Check whether an appointment was already booked
This allows you to start the conversation informed and prepared.
When You Don’t Need to Check Call Logs
You don’t need to open Call Logs if:
- You’ve already received a notification and returned the call
- An appointment has been booked and you have the details
- The system is designed to notify you when action is needed.
