Appointments
Appointments are how Abbie turns calls into scheduled conversations for you. When a caller needs more than a quick answer, Abbie can book a time for you to follow up. This keeps you from playing phone tag and helps you return calls prepared.
How Appointment Booking Works
When a caller reaches Abbie and requests a callback or meeting, Abbie collects the necessary information and schedules an appointment based on your availability.
Appointments are only booked during the times you’ve made available.
Abbie will never double-book you.
What Information Is Collected
Before booking an appointment, Abbie gathers basic information such as:
- Caller name
- Caller phone number
- Reason for the call
- Any relevant notes
This information is attached to the appointment so you know why the call was booked before you return it.
Viewing Upcoming Appointments
To see your appointments:
- Log into your dashboard
- Go to Appointments
- You’ll see a list of upcoming appointments along with the caller’s information and notes.
What To Do When an Appointment Is Booked
When an appointment appears:
- Review the caller’s details
- Read the notes Abbie captured
- Call the customer at the scheduled time
Most users treat appointments as priority callbacks.
Rescheduling or Canceling Appointments
If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, you can do so directly from the dashboard.
If an appointment is canceled, you may still want to follow up with the caller if appropriate.
Using Appointments Effectively
Appointments work best when you:
- Keep your availability accurate
- Review notes before calling
- Return calls on time
This creates a smooth experience for the caller and builds trust.
